Review: Fallen By Lauren Kate

This book reminded me too much of Twilight, where all the main character could think about was a guy. The story follows Luce and her recent switch to a school for delinquents. Once she's there she is suddenly drawn to a boy she has never met before, even though it feels like she has known him for years. The only problem is that he won't admit to ever meeting her, let alone knowing her. The rest of the book basically goes on about her struggles at the school, and her budding relationship with Daniel, and Cam another boy she meets.

There were a lot of things that I didn't like about this book, but the main thing about this book was it was hard for me to get into. The story seemed lacking in anything interesting and seemed to drag on. Not only that, but Luce seemed to only think about Daniel and how much he seemed to hate her. She seemed obsessed with finding anything and everything about him because of the lacking info she knew about him. Also, a love triangle in this book and I happen to hate love triangles. But overall the characters were lacking depth and they just weren't interesting.

Plus there is even a not so great movie you can watch after you read the book. I decided to see it even after I didn't like the book and all I can say is about it is that it was even a disappointment to the fans.

If you are a fan of Twilight or other paranormal books then this might just be the book for you, but if you do not stay away, it's not worth reading.

Even if you are thinking about reading it...
